1st International Conference on Sustainable Energy and Resource Use in Food Chains

RCUK National Centre for Sustainable Energy Use in Food Food Chains (CSEF Centre) at Brunel University London, in collaboration with The University of Manchester and University of Birmingham annouce their 1st conference ‘ICSEF 2017’ to be held Wednesday 19 to Friday 21 April 2017

The aim of  ICSEF 2017  is to bring together scientists and engineers working in the field of energy and resource use in food chains.  ICSEF 2017 will report on the latest thinking, technologies and approaches for energy demand reduction and minimisation of resource use, including water and waste, across all stages of food chains from primary production to consumption and waste management.

Themes at ICSEF 2017 will include:
  • Energy and Resource Use in Agriculture/Food Production
  • Sustainable Food Processing
  • Distribution and Logistics
  • Consumption 
  • Waste Management
