Research partner wanted for measuring physical activity and/or stress levels at community gardens
The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership runs a network of over 70 community gardens where thousands of people volunteer each year. We are using questionnaires to evaluate the impact of gardening on health & wellbeing, but we are interested to verify this with more practical data. So we are looking for a research partner that could bring practical methods to one or more gardens, eg cortisol testing, accelerometers etc which could back-up our findings around physical activity levels, decreased stress etc. If you are interested please contact Jess Crocker, Harvest Manager on 01273 431700.
