FRC Food Brexit Briefings discussed on BBC Radio 4

6 March 2019

Research published by the Food Research Collaboration as part of the Food Brexit Briefings Series was discussed on BBC Radio 4 on two different radio programmes over the course of February 2019.

Dr Lindy Sharpe featured on Farming Today on February 7th discussing the FRC briefing on ‘Fish, fishing and Brexit’ written by Dr Miriam Greenwood. This interview prompted another BBC Radio 4 programme, You and Yours to invite Sustain fisheries expert Ruth Westcott to further discuss the paper.

Later in the month, after the publication of our briefing on ‘Sugar reduction in post-Brexit UK: A supply-side policy agenda’, one of the authors was interviewed on Farming Today on February 21st. Jack Winkler was invited on the programme to discuss the role of trade and agriculture policy in widening and strengthening the sugar reduction agenda.
