Welcome to our May newsletter: the final update from the Food Research Collaboration.
This really is the last time you’ll hear from us. Last time we thought we were producing a final newsletter, we got a three-month funding extension. During that time, we have published four reports, a blog, two newsletters, a policy brief on the Queen’s Speech, and an Open Letter to the Labour Party. So we think we are going out with a bang!
The important thing is that although our activities will cease after today, the website remains accessible – so all our publications can still be searched and downloaded in the same way as now.
A very big thank you to all of you for subscribing and reading; to our many contributors from civil society and academia; to the food hubs who have helped us in our research; to our founder and adviser Professor Tim Lang, whose final column appears in this issue; to the Centre for Food Policy for hosting us; and of course to our funders, the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, and our (usually invisible) grant manager, Laurence Scott.
