FRC publishes joint report resulting from workshop on food insecurity

Today, the Food Research Collaboration published a report on food insecurity in Britain: “Time to count the hungry: the case for a standard measure of household food insecurity in the UK”, jointly produced by Sustain, the Food Foundation, Oxfam, and the Sociology Department of Oxford University. This publication is the result of a workshop on food poverty hosted by the FRC in January, which brought together academics and civil society representatives to discuss the complex issues around measuring food insecurity.

The report was written by Lindy Sharpe; you can download it from the FRC website.
